PROCEDURES OFFERED

Facet Joint Injections

Injection of a small dose of anesthetic and steroid directly into your facet joint to block pain. This approach will help you tolerate pain better so you can participate in rehabilitative physical therapy.

Trigger Point Injections

Injection of local anesthetic, saline or corticosteroid into knots in muscles often called trigger points. The injection helps to relieve the knot and associated pain.

Epidural Injections

Minimally invasive injections into the epidural fluid surrounding the spinal cord. These injections can help to reduce inflammation and pain related to a number of conditions including sciatica, degenerative disc disease, failed back surgery, disc herniation and radiculopathy.

Radiofrequency Ablation

Using radio waves to deliver heat to targeted nerve tissues to reduce chronic pain symptoms. The heat impairs the nerve and disturbs the transmission of pain signals from the spinal column to the brain.

Spinal Cord Stimulation

Delivers a mild electrical stimulation to nerves along the spinal cord and helps reduce pain by masking the pain signals from reaching your brain.

Peripheral Nerve Block

Injection of an anesthetic near a specific bundle of nerves to block the sensation of pain in a specific area of the body.

BRACING

Pain Reduction and Healing

Back Bracing

There are two types of back braces. One back brace is used to correct spine curvature by straightening the spine. The other type helps to stabilize the core muscles around the spine to promote healing, avoid further injury and reduce pain. All braces at B3 Medical are custom fitted for the individual patient to address his or her specific condition:

  • Herniated Disc
  • Sciatica
  • Degenerative Disc

Neck Bracing

Neck Braces stabilize the cervical spine after a neck injury or surgery. Braces for the neck can range from the stiffest brace that allow little or no movement, to pliable supporting braces for soft tissue healing.

  • Whiplash
  • Falls – Primarily Seen in Seniors
  • Sports-related Accidents – Weekend Warriors
  • Osteoporosis – Fractured or Collapsed Vertebra
  • Herniated and Bulging Discs
  • Degenerative Disc Disease

Knee Bracing

Our Knee-Unloading support device has been shown to increase joint space while reducing the pressure on the cartilage of the knee as well as the knee capsule. When done correctly, bracing can be extremely effective in unloading and redistributing pressure off the worn areas of the joint. As always at B3 Medical, our goal is true, long-term joint pain relief. Effective bracing and alignment can be a key to this success.
